How Do I Create A Maid In The City Account?

When you book service an account is automatically created for you. Simply set up your account, choose your password, and you’re ready to go.

Do You Service My Area?

If you’re within the Calgary and surrounding area, absolutely. We do service homes outside of city limits but charge a small travel fee which can be selected under extras on the booking form.

What Is Included In A Maintenance Cleaning?

Standard cleaning takes into account everything that involves cleaning a home or apartment. Cleaning/vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dusting, etc. We do offer extra services like cleaning inside the fridge and inside the oven, and those can be selected on the booking form when you select service.Common Areas Such As Kitchen , Living Room, And Dining Area Are Included.

Do You Bring Your Own Cleaning Supplies, Products & Equipment?

We bring our own cleaning supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Alternatively, we can use green products if you would prefer. Please let us know if you would prefer green cleaning services so we can plan for this.

Can I Request Special Tasks or Extras?

Sure thing. Simply send us an email or log into your account and any comments or extras you would like to be applied to your service.

What Is The Two Hour Window?

Please note that we do allow a one hour arrival window for appointment(s). Customers schedulling appointments understand that our teams make every effort to be on time. Our teams do provide a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Customer schedulling outside of the regular service area, should expect an arrival window of up to two hours. We take as much pride in our safe driving practices as we do in our cleaning services. Maid In The City Cleaning Services arrival times allow our teams to travel to and from custome/ client locations in an unrushed and safe driving manner.

Is My Billing Information Kept Safe & Secure?

We have three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation ssl. Secondly our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

Do The Cleaning Professionals Go Through A Background Check?

Yes they do. We run a detailed country-wide background check on all applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

What Is Your Refund/ Re-Cleaning Policy?

If something is not done to your expectations, please let us know. We’ll send a team out to make it right (within a 7 day window) Customers requiring a recleaning or have questions regarding their billing should contact customer care at 1-855-401-4448. Customers may make written request. Written requests may be sent via email to info@citycleaning4u.com

Can I Ask My Cleaner To Do Laundry?

We do offer laundry services. Laundry services are available as an extra,when purchased with a cleaning package or airbnb cleaning bundle. Laundry services are charged at $20.00/ load, with a 2 load minimum.($40.00 maximum) Please note that unfortunately we do not offer a stand alone laundry service. Also please note that Maid In The City Cleaning Services, it's partners, affiliates, and staff assume no responsible for any damages incured during use of our laundry services. Client understands that when requesting laundry that he/she is removing Maid In The City Cleaning Services of all liability for lost and or damaged clothing items .

Can I Ask My Cleaner To Do Dishes?

Cleaning teams vary. Dishes are done at the discretion of the cleaning teams. Dishes maybe discussed with the cleaning teams upon arrival. Please note that Maid In The City Cleaning Services assumes no responsibility for lost, broken and or damaged dishes. Requests for washing/ drying/ cleaning and or putting away of dishes are soley between client/ customer and cleaning teams. Client/Customer understands that when requesting this service that he/she removes Maid In The City Cleaning Services of any liability.

Cancellation Fee/ No Show Appointment Fee

Please Note There Is A $50.00 Non- Refundable Fee, Should You Cancel Your Appointment. This Fee Is Non refundable And Does Not Change Regardless Of Providing 24 Hour Notice. Upon providing 24 Hour Notice Maid In the City cleaning Service Will Refund Amounts To Customer Minus $50.00 Processing Fee. Customer Understands That When Scheduling His/ Her Appointment That We Are Reserving That Appointment Time In Order To Perform A quality Service At Client's Location. We Understand Things Happen And Make Every Effort To Accommodate Our Clients When Issues Arise.

Can I Pay After Instead Of Before My Cleaning?

Unfortunately post paid services are only available to our commercial services clients only. Post paid services are no longer available to residential customers. Commercial clients requiring post paid services are encouraged to contact our customer care team at info@citycleaning4u.com to arrange for a post paid account to be set up.

If something is not done to your expectations, please let us know. We’ll send a team out to make it right (within a 7 day window*). If after our re-clean is completed and you’re still not happy with service, we offer a full refund. *Concerns must be voiced in writing via email to our customer care team. Concerns must be emailed within 24 hours of initial appointment to qualify for our 7 day reclean. Customers who fail to follow the above listed policy & procedure will not be granted a reclean.

If you’re not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean (within a 7 day window). If you still don’t think we did a good enough job to recommend us to your friends, we’ll refund your money.
